Arcopedico Monterey: Stay Cool & Comfortable

When we travel we do a lot of walking. Walking around museums, amusement parks…you get the idea. I usually just end up wearing gym shoes because I can’t find anything more comfortable. Even in the summer when I would like to be able to let my feet breathe. The good people at Arcopedico sent me these shoes called Monterey and I will no longer be constrained to gym shoes! These shoes are so comfortable I can’t believe they are sandals. They come in four colors: purple, black and red which are all leather upper and elastic and also biscuit which is vegan. I have the color biscuit which is shown in the pictures. The elastic straps make them so easy to slip on and off and they still stay comfortably tight on your foot. I’ve walked miles and miles in them and never wished I had on my gym shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and always have special insoles in my shoes. Obviously, it’s harder to wear insoles in sandals but I don’t even need my insoles in these shoes and my feet have never ached. The Arne-Dry cushioned footbed will keep your feet dry, well-ventilated and comfortable.

Arcopedico also has many other shoe styles to choose from. They produce women’s shoes that specialize in being lightweight, while still being supportive of the arch—which makes them ideal for traveling. The majority weigh less than a pound, and are crushable, so stashing them in the suitcase is a breeze. If you are looking for the ideal travel shoe or gift ideas, look no further than this shoe.

  1. These sound perfect for long days at Disney World! They are also cute which is a huge bonus in my book. Thanks for sharing – I’ll check them out.

  2. I’ll have to try these! I used to be a strict sneakers girl when there was a lot of walking to be done, but in the past two years, I’ve been able to find some sandals that do the trick. I even wore sandals to Disney. These look great.

  3. Nice and comfy is the way to go. I always want the comfort of a sneaker but not the heat of wearing them. These look like the perfect alternative.

  4. Those definitely look like comfy travel shoes! Cooler than gym shoes or boots, but still secure on your feet and more support than flip flops.

  5. Those are super cute. I like them for the summer. I have a pair of closed-toe slip-on Arcopedico and they are very comfortable.

  6. I own a pair of the Arcopedico boots and love them! And I need some good walking sandals and these look super cute (and I hate things between my toes so these are perfect!

  7. They sent me a pair of a ballet style shoe that was mostly comfy. I liked how it’s so easily portable while I travel. Unfortunately it just didn’t go with much with my style, but I’d recommend for people that walk a lot

  8. The company sent me a pair of shoes for my trip to Scotland last year! I love them. So comfortable. The sandals are super cute too!
