Aerosmith Deuces Are Wild VIP Experience

It’s always a great thing when you can see one of your favorite bands play live. When we went to Las Vegas to see Aerosmith Deuces Are Wild Residency, we thought nothing could top that experience. We were wrong. In October, we went back to Vegas to see Aerosmith at the Park Theater, but this time, we found ourselves onstage as VIPs! So now we want to show you what it was like to be onstage and behind the scenes of one of the greatest rock shows. If you ever find yourself as an Aerosmith VIP, this may help you with your experience.

Getting Tickets

If you’re like us, you probably think Aerosmith Deuces Are Wild VIP tickets are too costly to be a reality, and a lot of times you’re right. The initial price tag of being onstage at the Deuces Are Wild show ran in the $800 range. So it was by complete luck that we found these tickets onstage at a considerable discount that made them sound too good to be true. Just as Ticketmaster can raise prices as the demand gets higher, they can also lower them as the show gets closer. We knew when we saw the deal that we couldn’t pass it up. You just have to be willing and able to travel last minute. We recommend looking at shows within a month to find the best deals.

Getting In Line

In the days leading up to the show, you’ll receive detailed instructions about your VIP Experience including when and where to meet. We were told to arrive at the lobby at the Park Theater at a certain time to get the wrist band and get in line. While we went a little earlier than recommended, next time we would arrive even earlier. Being first in the initial line, helps you get a prime spot onstage for the show. One important thing to keep in mind when buying your Aerosmith Deuces Are Wild tickets, is what side of the stage you want to be on. We knew Joe Perry plays on stage left so we bought our tickets for the left side of the stage. If you are more of a Brad Whitford or Tom Hamilton fan, then the right side is for you.

Getting Into the Theater

Once you go through the doors of the Park Theater, you’ll be split into two lines, stage left and stage right. Trust us when we say you’ll want to be as close to the front of this line as possible. We recommend the buddy system so one of you can check out the merch while your spot is protected. Don’t stray too far because you’ll just stand in this line about a half hour.

Getting On Stage

What happens next is something you’ll never forget. Once the next set of doors are opened, you walk through and you’re given your Aerosmith Deuces Are Wild VIP lanyard and are presented with your very own 1More THX-certified ear buds with a retail value over $100. You get to use these ear buds during the show with a special iPod (that is not yours to take) to hear the show as the band hears it, or you can choose to hear Steven Tyler’s personal mix.

Once you receive your goodies, you are escorted onto the stage where you will watch the show and see things from the band’s perspective. You’ll also have access to your own bar and Aerosmith pinball games. However, once you find your spot, you may not want to give it up. While everyone is nice before the show starts, everyone is looking to get as close to the action as possible when the show starts.

Show Experience

Witnessing the Aerosmith Deuces Are Wild show from the side of the stage is not like your traditional show experience. If you’re on stage left, you may miss what is going on on the other side of the stage an vice versa. You’ll also be looking at the back of the guys for a good portion. With all that said, the trade-off is epic! During our time on stage, we saw the show from a whole new perspective. Our view was split between what was going on on stage and also behind stage. More than once, Joe Perry came back to trade off guitars from his roadie and would make it a point to stop and talk to us in the VIP area. At one point, he handed out a drum stick and guitar pick. Steven Tyler came to our section and interacted with fans. This is the kind of access you don’t even get from having a front row seat. We personally walked away with guitar picks from Joe Perry and Brad Whitford.
